President – Southeast Texas Market

Walt Rollins serves as President — Southeast Texas Market at Innovista Health Solutions.  Walt is responsible for building and leading physician networks in navigating transitions in healthcare delivery, value-based contracts and strategic alignments to drive success for our clients in Southeast Texas – stretching from greater Houston to the Rio Grande Valley. Walt has over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and deep relationships with the providers and payers across the region.  Walt is a trusted physician advocate, expert in win-win partnerships in value and risk arrangements.

Prior to his role at Innovista, Walt implemented and successfully managed the Medicare-Medicaid program in Texas for Anthem/Amerigroup. In addition, Walt managed multiple MSSP ACO’s across the country for Practice iQ and TexanPlus, increasing STARS quality ratings and maintaining multi-million-dollar profits for the plan. For CIGNA Healthcare, Walt led commercial product creation and implementation for the central region spanning from Missouri west to California.   His resume also includes creating profitable IPA organizations through managing multiple payers and lines of business for Methodist Medical Group, Tenet, and OneCare.

Walt received his BS in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from the University of Houston.
