Innovista’s Corporate VP of Medical Management, Pam Audish, provides leadership and administrative oversight of the Innovista Medical Management Program including program development, implementation, and evaluation. In addition to impacting health for individuals and populations, she impacts medical costs that create financial rewards in Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and traditional Medicare programs in each of Innovista’s markets.
Pam was recently asked to submit her thoughts in an article for the Case Management Society of America Today Magazine, a publication and organization that facilitates “the growth and development of professional case managers across the full health care continuum, promoting high quality, ethical practice benefiting patients and their families.”
The article, featured on the cover page of the 3rd 2018 issue of CMSA Today, titled “Case Management in Primary Care Makes a Difference”, is focused on the role of the case managers and their impact on primary care, specifically on programs such as avoidable ED visits and medication adherence. Using this and real results from her markets, Pam shares how case management in primary care does make a difference.
